Helping you navigate pregnancy, birth & the early days with kindness, compassion & a deep understanding of birth & the journey to parenthood

This is your story
You know that thing that happens when you find out you’re pregnant and suddenly everyone loses their filter and tells you their birth story in great detail, gives you advice about sleep training or recalls the time their nipples almost fell off from breastfeeding? It’s a lot isn’t it?! If you’re looking to drown out the noise, I’m here for you! I’ll help you tune into your instincts, build trust and strength in yourself and find the path that feels right for you, even if that looks different to everyone else’s. I’m not here to give you advice or make decisions for you, I’ll support you to take control of your experience. If this sounds like what you need, I’d love to be part of your team.

LOOKING FOR A BIRTH DOULA? HI THERE!
I’m a birth doula based in Buckinghamshire and I also teach pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing, mum & baby yoga and baby massage.
I know that pregnancy can feel pretty overwhelming. Often you don't see the same midwife twice and it can be hard to know who to talk to about what feels right for you. It doesn't matter if you've had a baby before or you're working everything out for the first time: as your doula, hypnobirthing coach or yoga teacher I'm here for you, on your team and with your experience at the heart of my support.
GET TO KNOW ME BETTER
I live in High Wycombe with my husband, two teenage daughters and Ella the spaniel.
I can usually be found either on a dog walk in the woods, having a long chat over coffee, with my nose in a good book or listening to a birth-related podcast.
When my daughters were born, so much of how I felt as a new mum (physically & emotionally) was wrapped up in how I'd experienced their births. It was clear to me that when we’re cared for, listened to & have an awesome group of people around us the impact is HUGE.
WHY I DO WHAT I DOULA (SORRY!)
My experience of pregnancy, birth & motherhood is what ultimately led me to being a doula & creating this amazing community of parents. So whether you're heavily pregnant & dealing with the pressure of being induced or deep in the gritty-eyed newborn phase, trying not to punch the next person who tells you to "sleep when the baby sleeps", my goal is always the same: to help you feel like you're not doing this alone.
Take a look around or get in touch for a chat - I’m always happy to answer questions and help you figure out what feels right for you.

"During the birth of my baby Steph made me feel supported without it ever feeling overwhelming. Her support of course also extended to my husband, which allowed him to fully focus on me and stay by my side throughout, which was really important for us. One of my biggest worries was whether my birth plan would be read and respected and Steph helped ensure that it was. Throughout my labour, she knew when to step in and when to quietly step back, and I always felt she was there whenever we needed her.
Steph - thank you for all your help, guidance, and calm throughout one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. We’ll never forget it!"
